Snow crunches under hoof, steam rises from geothermal pools, and the northern sky keeps its quiet promise.
On this winter riding journey, you’ll explore Iceland’s frozen countryside on sure-footed Icelandic horses, tölting along the Þjórsá River beneath the slopes of Mount Hekla. By night, you’ll sink into a hot tub outside your cabin, watching for the flicker of the Northern Lights — or simply the calm glow of winter stars.
This isn’t a rushed itinerary. It’s a slower rhythm, where each day blends the land’s raw beauty with its quiet magic.
